Campaigning Clinton Style

     It only took one sentence from a story about Hillary Clinton's new book to cause me to dust off my blog "Right Wing Rant's".   The story was contained in Fox New's Political Section (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/05/30/clinton-takes-on-critics-in-benghazi-chapter-says-wont-be-part-political/).  The simple sentence appeared to be an innocent statement by the former Secretary of State requesting proper observation of the sacrifice made by those who died in Benghazi.

     I was reading this article at 4:30 am after a restless night, and my initial reaction was to consider the statement by Mrs. Clinton as meaningless political speak, but after a moment I realized that it was something much more than that and I could not address it adequately in 140 characters.  The sentence in question read;

"Those who exploit this tragedy over and over as a political tool minimize the sacrifice of those who served our country," Clinton reportedly wrote.

     So it would appear that the Clinton strategy here is to make any mention of Benghazi an 'exploitation'. You could be forgiven for wondering if the other side of this statement is that the most profound way of honoring Ambassador Steven's and the other brave men who were murdered in this attack would be to never, ever, under any circumstances - mention them.

     This would certainly work out in Mrs. Clinton's favor and it sounds like something that could very well have been concocted by the greatest "Not my fault" guy of this century - Barack Obama.  But regardless of whether or not this brief statement (which was purposely leaked by Clinton's staff) has Obama's fingerprints on it or not, there is no shortage of experts in deceit among Hillary's acquaintances, right Bill?

     So sorry Mrs. Clinton, but you don't get to lead us by the nose and tell us what and who and when to believe - we have had far to many years of that already.
